Ingredients
- 3 potatoes, boiled and mashed coarsely
- 1 tsp Manakkadu Curry Masala
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 1-2 green chillies, chopped
- 1 tsp ginger, grated
- ½ tsp turmeric powder
- ½ tsp mustard seeds
- 1 tsp urad dal
- 1 sprig curry leaves
- 1 tbsp oil
- Juice of ½ lemon
- Salt and coriander to garnish
Method
Step 1: Temper
Heat oil, splutter mustard and urad dal; add curry leaves, green chillies and ginger.
Step 2: Saute onion
Add onion and saute till soft.
Step 3: Add spice
Add turmeric, salt and Manakkadu Curry Masala; saute briefly.
Step 4: Add potato
Add mashed potato and mix gently till everything is coated and warmed through.
Step 5: Finish
Switch off, add lemon juice and coriander; toss lightly.
